A note from our
Founder & CEO, Liz
My passion for caregiving started as a child. My dear Momma is a retired nurse-midwife and had a career caring for others in a different way. When I was born, she was in the midst of actively growing her career. Wise woman that she is, she did us all a huge favour and service by surrounding herself with support systems that enabled our whole family to thrive and grow.
Momma used domestic staff and in particular stellar in-home caregivers to help raise me. I was excellently cared for, my nanny earned an excellent wage for the services she offered and Momma continued on an excellent trajectory in her career. Momma is the first woman I have had the pleasure of knowing who literally personified eating her cake and having it too.
The desire to follow in Momma's footsteps and help others create their own sense of balance and progressiveness is one of the core reasons Rested N Restored exists. It is why we do what we do.
